Well, we all were sad about the break-up of Ellegarden. Here we go again; The vocalist’s voice comes back to us with the HIATUS.

It’s been a while. News? Sure!
I watched a few J-Dorama’s in my absence.

Osen: Intro (Micro – Odore), very good sond, very catchy.
I’d like you to check out Nodame Cantabile. It’s such a funny drama with lots of music (classical, which I like very much) – the main characters are funny, also very handsome. (hell! Chiaki kicks asses!)
Mwah, so funny. (here starring: Ueno Juri and Tamaki Hiroshi, main characters of Nodame Cantabile…)

First I’d like to say:
HELLO! & 今晩わ and I’m so, so sorry for writing less posts this time. I thought it wouldn’t get that bad but this is what we get when Rael thinks, yep. I’m sorry. すみません!
So in the last time I checked out two new bands, which I actually like, found while reading a magazine.
Here’s the ‘review’ of the first one:
NICO Touches The Walls
Genre:
» Alternative Rock
Discography:
Albums
» Who are You – Full album (2008)
» How are You – mini album (2007)
» Runova X Handover – mini album (2006)
» Wall Is Beginning – mini album (2006)
Singles
» Long night – single (2008)
» Primitive-disc: Eden – 2CD single (2007)
DVD
» NICO Touches The Walls Live – DVD (2006)
The band is formed by Tatsuya Mitsumura at vocals / guitar, Furumura Daisuke at the guitar, Sakakura Shingo at the bassguitar and last but not least Tsushima Shotaro at the drums.
The guys went to the same highschool and soon the band was grounded back in 2004, same year they won a price at the “YAHAMA TEENS” contest, congratulations guys.
To be honest, it was the first time I ever heard of them EVEN THOUGH they did an opening song for Naruto. Well, guess I shouldn’t sleep that much.
Anyways, the music’s awesome.
I’ve fallen for Broken Youth, The Bungy and そのTAXI.160km/h, the whole album’s quite good though.
The music makes your feet wanna dance and move and quickly shake their toes. Weird picture, but yes, it is like I tell you. Believe me or not.
Give it a try:
Download Album “Who Are You?”
This isn’t uploaded by me. Anyways, make sure to delete this after 24h and support the band by buying their album. They sure are great! This is only for trial!
Result: 9/10
Yep!
‘Til soon. またね!

Hey guys, here I am again. I had a rough time lately with various activities and studies and this kinda stuff that probably why I hadn’t thought of posting anything yet.
Well, here I am, back again~
Yesterday I recherched a bit and I found an extremely good band: ONE OK ROCK.
This band was grounded in 2005 and the bandmembers are Taka at vocals, Toru at the guitar and vocals, Ryota at the bass and Tomoya at the drums.
The genre is kinda hard to describe for me though. I’m not that good in stereotype music. Well, it’s ROCKmusic, haha.
Similar bands might be Abingdon boys school, UVERworld, sometimes ORANGE RANGE, definitely Ellegarden, but all of them are completely different.
I guess you need to have a try yourselves.

ONE OK ROCK – トレテリミト抱
Have fun!

Base Ball Bear (again)—-
geez, you really need to listen. I’m flashed … I guess it’s been 4 years now since I’ve been that impressed.
At the moment I’m listening to two albums all the time: “C” and “十七歳”.
My favorite tracks are probably “Crazy For You no Kisetsu”, “愛してる(aishiteru)” and “Last Dance”.
Total points: 10/10 at least.
愛してる PV:
Tokyo Jihen, yes – the singer hasn’t got that unbelievable voice that attracts me like it normally does, but her voice fits. It really fits to the music they’re playing.
Shiina Ringo, the lead singer, is about 30 years old, very beautiful and fun to watch at: She always has this serious expression though she makes this ‘funny’ videos and sings those ‘funny’ songs.
I guess this band is one of my favorite ones – the music fits perfectly to driving the car or chillin’ in front of the computer – well it’s made for every situation I guess.
Give it a listen, won’t you?

Name: Base Ball Bear (ベースボールベアー besuborubea)
Genre: Japanese Indierock
Set up: 2002
Former bandname: Planet
Members: Yūsuke Koide, Shōhei Yuasa, Shiori Sekine, Daisuke Horinouchi
Releases: Check Wikipedia

First of all: Hello again. This is my first music recommendation: Base Ball Bear.
It was quite a coincidence that I found some music from Base Ball Bear and I totally liked it, well, I still do though. I can hardly decribe my feeling while hearing music from BBB but I think it’s a nostalgic one – It feels like I’m listening to music that I really loved a few years ago.
The singing voice is really beautiful, although he’s not the quite type, haha. It’s a good mix between Ajikan and Ellegarden, I guess – well, it’s worth to listen to it, give it a try.
